What Should I Expect After Sculptra Injections?
After your Sculptra treatment, you may have mild to moderate swelling, redness, bruising, or tenderness at the injection site that should resolve itself in a few days. You may apply a cold compress to the injection sites to encourage healing. You should avoid UV exposure after your injection and use sun protection. Most patients will see clear improvements immediately following their appointment, with full results seen after 3 – 5 months, when the natural production of collagen improves the health of the complexion. If Sculptra is performed in a series of injections over 3 – 4 months, results may last as long as two years.
