How Does Our RADIESSE Injection Technique Work?
RADIESSE dermal injections take place in one of the treatment rooms at Dr Diva Aesthetics for around 30 – 60 minutes once you have completed the consultation. First, you will lie in a relaxed position while the injection sites are cleaned and marked. Many patients feel tolerable discomfort during the procedure at the initial prick, but if requested, a numbing cream will be applied to the treatment sites. The dosage of RADIESSE, chosen during your personalized treatment planning session, will be placed in an ultra-fine syringe. The marked injection sites will guide the injector to carefully administer RADIESSE into the face. As soon as the procedure is complete, a cold compress may be held to the treated areas to help alleviate swelling and bruising.

About UsRADIESSE® FAQs
How much does Radiesse cost?
Your cost for a Radiesse treatment is dependent the amount used to match your goals. During your consultation at our practice, we will listen to your expected results and develop your personalized treatment plan. Then, they can discuss your potential costs for your treatment.
How does Radiesse compare to other fillers?
Fillers each have different formulas and properties to address a wide range of issues. Common ingredients in fillers are hyaluronic acid (HA), CaHa (calcium hydroxyapatite), poly-L-lactic acid, and polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA). Radiesse is made with calcium-based microspheres, which are similar to HA injectable fillers the way it helps to stimulate collagen production in your body. During your initial consultation, your injector will review the various brands and assess your skin's tone and volume to help you decide which one matches your needs.
Are Radiesse injections painful?
Generally, patients don't need numbing cream before their treatments. However, numbing cream is available to relieve any concerns you may have. Most patients may feel brief and minor discomfort during the actual injections.
