If you are at a healthy, stable weight, but exercise and diet have not helped to reduce the fat in your submental area, KYBELLA may be the correct treatment for you. What to Expect After KYBELLA Treatment?
KYBELLA doesn't need anesthesia, so you can leave our office when you are comfortable to resume your daily activities. You may have short-term swelling, numbness, or bruising beneath your chin, but this shouldn't last more than 2 – 3 days. Contact Dr Diva Aesthetics immediately if you are feeling any unusual symptoms, such as difficulty swallowing, facial muscle weakness, or if your facial expressions are uneven. While the fat that is destroyed does not regenerate, the remaining cells can get larger, so you need to keep a stable weight after your KYBELLA treatments to help prevent new pockets of fat from forming.
